5th Islamic Solidarity Games Konya 2021 Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, on the 9th of August 2022 was produced by Illusionist with its all components. From the first scratch to the last touch, Illusionist's multi-disciplinary team worked together for the content, design and technical operation of the ceremony. Even though challenging, it was an honor and great pleasure to execute the first grand scale event produced in Turkey by Illusionist. After invaluable experiences in other parts of the world, Illusionist is proud to be the main actor in this huge production and operation.

The show was comprised of several parts focusing on sports, Turkey, Konya, Islamic history and civilization, and solidarity. Including impressive choreographical and pyrotechnical components, the ceremony was held in a thronged stadium. Hundreds of professional dancers and volunteers took part in and contributed to the ceremony. The ceremony's grand finale was a breathtaking drone show symbolizing the love, solidarity and unity of Islamic community.
